This particular furnace can be made of old oil drums and insulated with straw and clay. The oven is fired with wood, heats quickly and you can easily put multiple trays.

The beauty of this oven is that a large portion of the materials often can be found for free at an industrial area.

In this video you can follow the construction of a so-called Mexican kitchen. The advantage of a Mexican kitchen is that you can build it quickly and easily with materials that are often available for free. If you like to cook on a wood fire then a Mexican cuisine can be a suitable technique.

This kitchen is build in Peace Garden Lung Ta in Spain and is made in one day. All construction materials were free and locally available. And besides the chimney and some screws it’s completely natural.
